Meet Our Therapists
Amber C. Walker, MA, LPC, CAADC
a 2013 graduate of Western Michigan University with her Masters of Art in Counselor Education: concentration on Couples and Family. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with an interest in individual/adolescent/family issues, trauma, and assisting on the parenting journey. She is also a certified HIV/AIDS community educator/counselor & acupuncture detoxification specialist (auricular acupuncture). She is currently trained through Phase 2 of Brainspotting and working towards her certification. Of her many accomplishments, she has recently published personal journals to assist on the journey to mental wellness.

People can experience a wide range of emotions. There is no wrong or right way to feel. My goal is to provide insight and practical feedback to help you address long-standing issues and current life challenges. Equipping clients with the individualized tools necessary to employ specific problem solving and coping skills.
I am a Counseling Intern and I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Marriage & Couple’s Counseling, and Family Systems Therapy. I received my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Health Services, and will receive a M.A. in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling, from Western Michigan University.
I provide counseling services to individuals both in person and via telehealth. I serve clients of all sexual orientations, racial, cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. Take the step and invest in your mental health.
